About Us
Who we are
Jeju Central Masjid is a small, welcoming community mosque serving the Muslim community across Jeju Island — students, families, workers, and visitors from all backgrounds.
Our Story
A community mosque on Jeju Island
Jeju Central Masjid (مسجد جيجو المركزي) is a grassroots mosque born from the needs of Muslim students, workers, and families who made Jeju Island their home.
Around 3.5 years ago we began in a small two-room rented space. As the community grew, we moved into the current larger second-floor hall — formerly a restaurant — and brothers and sisters renovated it together: floors, kitchen, paint, partitions, carpets, and curtains.
Every won that built this masjid was raised locally and through donations from Muslim communities across Korea and abroad — including Qatar, Australia, and Indonesia. Alhamdulillah.
Whether you're here to pray, learn about Islam, borrow a book, or simply say salam — you are welcome, regardless of nationality, background, or how you arrived at faith.

Our Mission
Beyond the five daily prayers, we want Jeju Central Masjid to be a place where our community can find answers, support, and companionship — grounded in the Quran and Sunnah, owned by every brother and sister who walks through its doors, and open to all nationalities without sectarian divides.
Our Vision
Insha'Allah, a permanent masjid and Islamic centre on Jeju Island — with purpose-built halls for brothers and sisters, a dedicated Dawah centre, Islamic education for our children, and a lasting bridge to our Korean neighbours.

Support the Masjid
Help us secure a permanent home on Jeju Island
Every contribution — however small — is a sadaqah jariyah that helps us move from a rented floor to a masjid of our own.
